Hit historical portal fantasy series Maria Clara at Ibarra is truly a visual feast.
Under the helm of award-winning director Zig Dulay, it was shot with equal amounts of precision and flair.
And to make the visuals more vivid, 'Maria Clara at Ibarra' used of various post production techniques. The scenes were also made to look period-accurate and to hide the presence of modernity by creating beautiful background and landscapes through set extension.
A much-praised element of the show was the color grading, which helped a lot in the visual storytelling of the teleserye. Various computer-generated imagery (CGI) and visual effects (VFX) were also used to make the story richer.
