Mariel Rodriguez Padilla rose to fame in her teens as a commercial model after graduating from De La Salle University.
Her modelling career began with her appearance in a skincare brand which later on led her to become an MTV VJ from 2004 to 2006.
In 2004, Mariel signed with GMA Network and appeared in shows Love to Love: Maid for Each Other, Extra Challenge, and Love to Love True Romance.
On August 19, 2010, she married actor-director turned senator Robin Padilla at the Taj Mahal in Agra, India.
Mariel gave birth to her daughters Maria Isablla and Maria Gabriela in the US.
Since becoming a mom, Mariel has focused on hosting and live selling, embracing family lifeand traveling from time to time.
