Mav Gonzales gets surprise bridal shower from Kapuso and Kapamilya reporters

Senior Kapuso news reporter Mav Gonzales got a special surprise from her friends in the media, when they organized a bridal shower for her.
Last June, Mav announced via her social media page that she is now engaged to her non-showbiz partner, Matthew Valeña.
The soon-to-be bride uploaded some highlights of the intimate event on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “When the best friends pull off a surprise bridal shower so you arrive with wet hair and no makeup…”
“P.S. Nagdala ng dress yung mommy ko kaya nagpalit ako kaso wala namang ibang sapatos hahaha.”
Based on Mav's photos she uploaded on Instagram, award-winning GMA News reporters Sandra Aguinaldo and Tina Panganiban-Perez were also spotted during the bridal shower.
Also celebrating with Mav were Unang Hirit host Mariz Umali, Kapuso Showbiz reporter Nelson Canlas, Darlene Cay and former GMA Integrated News correspondent Victoria Tulad, who is now with ABS-CBN.
