GMA Integrated News reporter Mav Gonzales has tied the knot with the love of her life in a heartwarming, intimate wedding.
Mav got engaged to Matthew Valeña in June, and just two months later, her close friends and fellow reporters--including Nelson Canlas, Mariz Umali, and Sandra Aguinaldo--threw her a surprise bridal shower.

Looking back on her big day, Mav described her wedding as nothing short of magical, “A tiny wedding ceremony and an intimate reception with a handful of loved ones. Even the sun shone when it was forecasted to rain. IT WAS THE PERFECT DAY.”
She also shared how everything aligned just the way she dreamed it would: “Those close to me know I wanted to get married at 35, but I didn't really count on it. Well, I did end up marrying exactly when I wanted. God is never late.”
Expressing her gratitude, the new Mrs. Valeña thanked both families, their friends who stepped into special roles during the wedding, and her new husband.
