IV of Spades became mainstream when they released their fourth single titled "Mundo" in 2018.

In the same year, IV of Spades won the New Artist of the Year award at the MYX Music Awards 2018. The band also won the Favorite New Group Award at the 30th Awit Awards.

Hiatus

In 2020, IV of Spades released their seventh single titled "Ang Pinagmulan." However, later that year, they announced their hiatus as Blaster, Zild, and Badjao focused on their solo careers and projects outside of the band.

Aura

On July 16, 2025, IV of Spades surprisingly dropped a new single titled "Aura," which marks their return after almost five years. Unique Salonga also reunited with the group after leaving the band in 2018.

Unique Salonga

Unique was already writing his own songs when his churchmate, Zild Benitez, invited him to become part of IV of Spades.

Departure from IV of Spades

In 2018, Unique left IV of Spades to focus on his personal endeavors. As a solo singer, he released his debut single "Midnight Sky," followed by his debut album 'Grandma.' Unique then staged his first solo concert on September 29 of that year.

PANGALAN: and Daisy

In 2020, Unique released his second alumb 'PANGALAN:' under O/C Record, which is owned celebrity couple Kean Cipriano and Chynna Ortaleza. It was followed by 'Daisy,' which was released after three years.

Blaster Silonga

Blaster came from a family of musicians, being the son of Allan Silonga, who was a member of '90s band Kindred Garden and the singing group Daddy's Home.

Music Hero

While part of IV of Spades, Blaster joined Eat Bulaga's "Music Hero" in 2016. He won the "Electric Guitar Hero" and later proclaimed as The Ultimate Music Hero. His bandmate, Zild Benitez, also won in the segment as the "Bass Hero." However, due to rising popularity of IV of Spades, they left and gave up that titles.

The Celestial Klowns

When IV of Spades went on a hiatus, Blaster formed his own band called The Celestial Klowns with brother Dave, Crystal Jobli, Max Cinco, and Dan Tanedo.

Zild Benitez

Zild is the son of Frank Benitez, the former drummer of the '90s groups Hungry Young Poets and Barbie's Cradle. Zild graduated from the De La Salle-College of St. Benilde in 2018 with a degree in Music Production.

When he was a child, Zild was a model for various brands in the Philippines, and even had a camero in a primetime series.

In 2020, Zild released his debut solo album titled 'Homework Machine,' featuring the singles "Sinungaling" and "Dila," which were released earlier.

Badjao's father is musician Chuck de Castro, who was a member of Makatha & Positivity Band and Rage Band.

During the pandemic, Badjao joined Raymund Marasigan of Sandwich, Eco Del Rio of Chicosci, and John Apura in the "accidental pandemic band" Party Pace.
