On September 9, 2025, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto became the talk of the town after attending a hearing on flood control projects before the House Infrastructure Committee.
He called for full transparency and accountability, after exposing the Discaya couple Pacifico a.k.a. Curlee and Sarah for allegedly controlling billions worth of flood control contracts using dummy companies.
Joining him in the hearing was Pasig City Administrator Jeron Manzanero who is also a lawyer. Since Vico held the position, Jeron has been one of his key officials, hence he frequently appears alongside the mayor.
As city administrator, Jeron helps carry out Vico's policies by coordinating and overseeing implementation of local programs, projects, and services. Most importantly, he shares a common vision with the mayor about transparency, good governance, and integrity in public service.
While Jeron mainly works behind the scenes as Pasig's City administrator, he's also visible to the public because of his connections to showbiz, particularly through his wife, actress Sheena Halili.
