One of Singapore's most acclaimed and highly anticipated dramas 'When Duty Calls' is making its way to Heart of Asia fans.
The 2017 hit drama 'When Duty Calls' is Singapore's answer to the intense popularity of K-dramas. Inspired by Singapore's National Service program, 'When Duty Calls' commemorates the 50th anniversary of Singapore's National Service, which requires all male Singaporean citizens and second-generation permanent residents to serve a compulsory service in uniform.
'When Duty Calls' also boasts a star-studded cast featuring their brightest celebrities such as Desmond Tan, Romeo Tan, Pierre Png, Paige Chua and Felcia Chin.
Aside from it's established cast, 'When Duty Calls' pays tribute to Singapore's Special Forces teams. Some scenes include real life officers from the Special Operations Task Force and close to 50 other officers from the Army, SCDF and Police Force, as well as countless police cars, fire trucks, and other special vehicles.
Most of all, it's promising story shows bonds formed within people from the military, their characters connected through love, solidarity, fellowship, and love for the country.
