MLD Entertainment officially introduced their new P-pop group called New:ID during a media conference held at the Skydome, SM North Edsa on July 24, 2024. The group consists of Wilson, Macky, L, Thad, and Jom, all of whom were former contestants on the reality TV program “Dream Maker.”
P-pop group New:ID stands for the concept "new identity." The group takes a creative and unique approach in their releases by adopting a new identity for each song they release.
Despite not making the cut to be part of their now co-artist boy group, Hori7on, members of New:ID continued to pursue their dreams in the music industry. Within a year, the boys underwent rigorous training in South Korea, where they not only honed their technical skills under their mentors but also learned the discipline necessary to thrive as a P-pop group.
As a group, New:ID is dedicated to creating music that spreads love and positivity to their fans. “Aside from being popular and well-known across the world, our main target is to actually make and share songs that are relatable to anyone. We want to make music that our fans can find comfort in, music that will make them feel that someone shares the same experience,” they shared.
In addition to pursuing their personal dreams, New:ID also aims to represent the Philippines on the global stage. New:ID member Thad expressed his aspiration to elevate the country's name internationally.
New:ID is poised to achieve their ambitious dreams with MLD Entertainment, the same company that houses famous groups like Hori7on, Lapillus, and the former K-pop girl group Momoland.
