'An Oriental Odyssey' is an upcoming Chinese historical fantasy series on GMA FantaSeries which will start streaming on May 22, Mondays to Fridays at 8:25 a.m.
Set during the golden age of Chinese arts and culture, 'An Oriental Odyssey' is centric on the lives of Ye Yuan An (Janice Wu), Mu Le (Zheng Ye Cheng), and Zhao Lan Zhi (Zhang Yu Jian) and the unexpected friendship that will be formed between them.
Ye Yuan An is the kind and stubborn eldest daughter of the Assistant Minister of Revenue who will meet poor amnesiac Mu Le. In order to help him, she will buy Mu Le to become her family's servant.
As the two build an unexpected friendship, they will meet wise and intelligent (constable) Zhao Lan Zhi who will help them solve crimes and seek justice for the people in their neighborhood.
