The comedy creative force Michael V. stays with GMA-7!
Today, the award-winning Kapuso star renewed his contract with the media giant, his home for 30 years.
Attending this big milestone of Direk Michael were GMA President and Chief Executive Officer Gilberto R. Duavit Jr., Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe S. Yalong, GMA Network Officer-In-Charge for Entertainment Group and Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, and talent manager Carol (Carolina) Bunagan, who is Michael V.'s wife.
During the contract renewal held at the GMA Network Studio 7, GMA Network Chairman Felipe Gozon congratulated Bitoy via a video message and thanked him for his valuable contribution to his home network.
Atty. Gozon said, "As you renew your contract with us today, I want you to know that getting you to join 'Bubble Gang' in 1995 was one of the best decisions that GMA Network has ever made,"
"You have made a great contribution to make GMA Network a leader in comedy,"
"Maraming salamat for always choosing GMA as your home."
Michael V.'s contract signing today also served as the opportunity for the Bubble Gang team to announce their big concert scheduled to happen this coming October.
In his interview with GMANetwork.com, Michael V. shared his initial plans for the momentous event for the Pambansang comedy show.
“Ito kasi gusto natin mabigay sa audience lahat ng mga nagustuhan nila. So, most of the segment, most of the sketches. Most of the 'yung mga regular segments and characters na ginagawa namin sa Bubble Gang gusto natin ibalik at lagyan ng twist. So with that gusto rin natin siyempre ibigay 'yung mga artista, celebrities or mga guests na gusto ng mga audience for the show.
He also provided some hints of the guests he wants to be part of the Bubble Gang concert, too.
“May nagbanggit may ano mga taga- [It's] Showtime raw, so, may nagbanggit. 'Tapos, tama 'yung word na 'MGA' 'yun na 'yung puwede ko ibigay,” the Kapuso ace comedian told GMANetwork.com.
