Patuloy na bumubuti ang relasyon ng ex-celebrity couple na sina Mikee Quintos at Paul Salas sa kabila ng kanilang breakup noong 2025. At pag-amin ng aktres, totoong naging malaking tulong ang bachelor party ng malapit nilang kaibigan na si Mikoy Morales.
Sa panayam kay Mikee, kasama ang kaibigan na si Heaven Peralejo, sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda nitong Lunes, May 4, sinabi ng aktres na napanood niya ang panayam ni Paul sa parehong GMA Afternoon Prime talk show, kung saan sinabi nito ang tungkol sa usapan nila sa bachelor's party.
“We talked, okay naman. I'm not gonna deny; it was still painful. Masakit pa rin pero 'yung usap namin na 'to, compared to our breakup last year, is so much better. Like I found myself saying to him na parang 'Ito 'yung gusto kong usap last year.' Sabi ko sa kaniya nu'n. 'Ito 'yung kinailangan kong closure last year,” sabi ni Mikee.
Pag-amin pa ng aktres, akala niya ay hindi na niya ito makukuha. Kaya naman, natutuwa siyang makuha pa rin ang closure na inaasam niya.
Pagbabahagi ni Mikee, noong nagbakasyon sila ni Heaven sa Hawaii kamakailan lang ay nadiskubre niyang hindi totoo na nawawala ka pagkatapos ng breakup. Sa halip, nahahanap mo lang uli ang sarili mo.
“Looking back, I wasn't just grieving us, like the relationship. I also grieved over a version of myself, 'yung Mikee na 'yun na was with Paul, and I don't think I can go back to her. I love who I am now,” sabi ni Mikee.
Tungkol naman sa estado ng kaniyang buhay pag-ibig, sabi ng Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre actress, “We're just happy, we're happy. Not looking for it, but if it comes, very welcome.”
Matatandaan na noong bumisita si Paul, kasama naman si Rocco Nacino, sa naturang talk show, sinabi niyang hindi sila nagkabalikan ni Mikee, pero na-enjoy nila ang kanilang kuwentuhan at nakakuha na sila ng closure.
“Wala pong ganu'n. But ang masasabi ko naman, Tito Boy, nag-enjoy po kami kasi I think kinaya naman namin,” sabi ni Paul.
Sa katunayan, pagbabahagi ni Paul, bago pa ang naturang bachelor's party ay nag-uusap ang dating magkasintahan tuwing nagkakasalubong.
“Andu'n pa rin 'yung lalapitan ko siya, kakamustahin ko siya, kukulitin ko pa nga. But sa mga bawat kita namin na 'yun, Tito Boy, du'n kami naghi-heal kasi mas napag-uusapan namin,” sabi ni Paul.
