Miss World Philippines announces second set of official candidates

The competition to become the next Miss World Philippines continues to heat up as the organization has announced another set of delegates competing for the crown.
After announcing the candidates picked from the pageant's final screening held at the Glass Ballroom of Okada Manila last week, the organization is now announcing regional winners from across the country who will also be part of the pageant's coronation night on July 19 to be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The current reigning Miss World Philippines Gwendolyne Fourniol will be passing on her crown at the coronation night. While she finished on the outside of the top 40 during the Miss World pageant, Gwendolyne placed in the Top 20 of the Top Model Challenge and placed in the Top 25 of the Miss World Head to Head Challenge.
