NCT leader Taeyong has officially completed his mandatory military service and is now back in civilian life.

On December 14, Taeyong was discharged from the Navy, becoming the first member of NCT to fulfill South Korea's required enlistment.

The K-pop star enlisted in April 2024 and served as a cultural promotion soldier, taking part in the Navy Band and Honor Guard during his time in the military. Throughout his service, Taeyong participated in performances and ceremonial duties representing the Navy.

To mark the milestone, NCT's official social media channels shared a touching video capturing Taeyong's emotional reunion with his parents shortly after his discharge. Alongside the video, several photos were released showing Taeyong proudly posing in his military uniform, drawing warm reactions from fans worldwide.

The discharge signals a new chapter for Taeyong as he reunites with fans and prepares to return to activities following his service.
