Nikki Gil reveals daughter Maddie diagnosed with Kawasaki Disease

Former actress-TV host Nikki Gil is staying strong for her daughter Maddie as their family navigates a challenging health journey.

In an Instagram post, Nikki revealed that her three-year-old child was diagnosed with Kawasaki Disease, a serious illness that causes inflammation in the blood vessels and primarily affects infants and young children.

"Seeing our little girl in pain, hooked to IVs, enduring tests and meds, was the hardest thing we've ever gone through as parents," she shared.

Despite the emotional toll, Nikki expressed her deep faith and gratitude. "But even in the scariest moments, God showed up--in the peace He gave, the people He sent, and the healing He allowed. We give Him all the glory for carrying us through and for Maddie's recovery," she expressed.

She also extended her heartfelt thanks to friends, loved ones, and the medical team for their support throughout the ordeal.

"We're finally home with our brave girl, and while recovery continues, our hearts are filled with gratitude. God is so, so, so good," Nikki wrote.

Several followers and friends of Nikki flooded the comment section with their supportive messages to the family.

Maddie is Nikki's adorable daughter with her husband BJ Albert. The couple also has a son named Finn.
