'Not THAT Co': Camille Co clarifies link to controversial Co family

Lifestyle content creator and entrepreneur Camille Co set the record straight about her rumored relationship with another content creator, Claudine Co.
Claudine and her family are embroiled in a controversy since her father, former Ako Bicol Partylist representative Christopher Co, is a co-founder of Hi-Tone Construction and Development Corporation. His uncle, representative Elizaldy "Zaldy" Co is the chief executive officer of Sunwest Group of Companies.
Both companies were included in the top 15 construction companies that won contracts from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to build flood control projects, roads, and bridges from 2023 to 2025.
Following this issue, Claudine has deactivated her social media accounts.

In a recent social media post, Camille firmly clarified the mix-up, writing: "One last time for the people in the back: I am Camille. Not Claudine. Spell it with me now: C-A-M-I-L-L-E. Also, Google is free. (Unlike those people's corruption-funded shopping sprees.)" she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Camille also added that she does not personally know any of the Co family members involved in the so-called ghost flood control projects. “I'm not related to them nor do I know them,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Since her name is continously being dragged into the controversy, Camille made another clarification on Instagram Story.
“I feel like I should hold a sign saying, 'NOT related to the CO's going viral at the moment. Nanahimik ako dito," she said. “In all seriousness, I'm not related to anyone in politics nor construction. [Pati na rin Pure Gold, since we're clarifying things lol]."
When someone pointed out that her Finnish husband, Joni Koro, is in the construction business, Camille again clarified that her husband's company is not involved in any flood control project.
Camille stressed, “I stand corrected. My hubs @jonikoro is in fact in construction. And although his company @pieni surfaces can do wonderful things for your walls and floors, it cannot contribute anything to flood control. (Although those contractors also didn't contribute anything to flood control so (sad emoji).”
Camille tied the knot with Joni in Italy in 2019 and they have been blessed with two children already.
