Ogie Diaz, John Lapus, and other celebrities react to PNP's statement about gays

Celebrities responded and even poked fun at Makati City chief of police Harold Deposita's statement about gay men. He said: "Lalaki pa din sila. May instinct 'yan and… you know, lalo na if you're under the influence of intoxicating alcohol."
The police chief made this comment during an interview with the media regarding the Christine Dacera case. On January 1, Christine's body was found lifeless in a hotel room in Makati. According to Philippine National Police's (PNP) initial investigation, Christine was a victim of rape and homicide. The suspects tagged in the case are gay men.
Showbiz columnist and talent manager Ogie Diaz responded to the police's statement on a Facebook post.
Ogie, a father of five children, wrote in a Facebook post, "Bakit ako ang ginagawang sampol sa 'Ang bakla, pag nakainom, nagiging lalake din?'"
"Una, kahit itanong n'yo sa misis ko, hindi ako umiinom ng nakalalasing na inumin. At ginawa namin ang aming limang anak nang hindi ako lasing.
"Pero totoo sa akin 'yung when it comes to intimacy kineso, e para din akong straight barako.
"Pero after c***ing to town, titikwas na naman ang mga daliri ko."
Even world-renowned Filipinos Rajo Laurel and Lea Salonga shared their distaste to the now infamous statement.
