Philippine 'R&B' King Jay R mourns death of father Jun; fellow celebrities express sympathy

'Bakit Pa Ba' singer Jay is saddened after confirming the news last weekend that his father Gaudencio “Jun” Sillona Jr. has passed away on Saturday, August 12. He was 92.
Jay R or Gaudencio Sillona III in real life hasn't shared any information about the cause of death, but the OPM hitmaker uploaded a photo of his dad and wrote in the captions, “Love you dad. See you again on the other side.”
Back in January, Jay R's parents marked their 52nd wedding anniversary.
After Jay R's announcement, he received a deluge of condolences from his fellow celebrities and many expressed their support to his family amid this difficult period in their lives.
