Ahtisa Manalo ends Miss Universe 2025 journey as 3rd runner-up

Even if she did not win the Miss Universe 2025 crown, Ahtisa Manalo made the country proud when she ended her journey as 3rd runner-up.
It was Mexico's Fátima Bosch who took the Miss Universe 2025 title, with Thailand's Praveenar Singh as the 1st runner-up.
Ahtisa Manalo was a showstopper on the finals stage, gracing the runway in a magnificent silver gown created by Val Taguba. Following her memorable 'Pinctada' gown by Mak Tumang in the preliminaries, she once again captivated the audience with her sheer grace and elegance during the crucial evening gown segment.
In the final round, the question that the Top 5 candidates had to answer was this:
“If you win the title of Miss Universe tonight, how would you use this platform to empower young girls?"
Ahtisa answered: "I work with an organization called Alon Akademie, where we work with young people to provide them opportunities to make them realize that it doesn't matter what your life circumstances is, it doesn't. I want to continue working with Alon Academy and a bigger platform like Miss Universe to pursue making sure that people who come from low-income backgrounds are given the same opportunities as everyone else. Thank you."
Earlier in the pageant, Ahtisa gave a powerful message in the Q&A portion. Her question was “As a global ambassador or citizen, what will be your contribution to humanity?”
She answered, "I want to be the hope of people. I come from a very poor background. I started pageants at 10 years old to put myself through school and to lift my family out of poverty. And if there's anything that I want to show the universe, it's that I am here right now and I am standing as Miss Universe because I was able to get myself out of any situation through hard work, persistence, and fighting for what I want."
The countries that successfully made it to the Miss Universe Top 5 were: Thailand, Philippines, Venezuela, Mexico, and Cote D' Ivoire.
