“I caught Eumir having an affair in October last year.”
On Friday, January 10, Princess Galarpe Marcial, the wife of Olympic boxer and medalist Eumir Marcial shocked netizens and the local sports community when she revealed the alleged infidelity and abuse she experienced from her husband.
According to Princess, she, alongside her sister, caught Eumir in a Pasay condominium with Eumir's alleged mistress Jessa in October 2024.
They were both arrested and temporarily detained for five days.
However, Princess had Eumir and Jessa released after they signed an affidavit of desistance and compromise agreement respectively to give their marriage another chance.
“Despite some of my family's strong disapproval, I still gave Eumir multiple chances to make amends with our marriage, putting into consideration all that we have gone through and the difficult things we have survived as a couple. As his wife, I felt then that I still owe Eumir the responsibility to forgive him…” Princess wrote online.
But instead of correcting his mistake and being better, Princess said, “What I got instead was him further manipulating me.”
In the same post, Princess revealed that Eumir decided to live with his “young mistress from his hometown in Zamboanga City.”

“Little did I know that what started as a small act quickly grew to a sickening love affair with his young mistress from his hometown in Zamboanga City. Currently, I've managed to maintain some correspondence with some of our mutual and trusted friends in Zamboanga City where they alluded that Eumir and his mistress have decided to live together,” said Princess.
The Olympic boxer also allegedly withdrew all their savings to construct a house for himself and his mistress in Zamboanga.
Eventually, Princess separated from Eumir.
“For these obvious reasons, I had to go on separate ways with Eumir and severed all sources of communication with him after all the trauma, manipulation, emotional stress, physical abuse, and psychological torment that I had to endure these past few months and throughout our years of being together,” said Princess.
She is also reportedly working on a case against Eumir.
Princess said, “Unfortunately for legal reasons, we cannot release any of the evidence we have gathered to the public but they will be submitted instead to the court who we will let decide about the outcome of the case.” gave birth to their daughter Rosie Rignée.
