'Pulp Fiction' actor Peter Greene dies at 60

Peter Greene, the American actor known for his memorable performances in Pulp Fiction and The Mask, has died at the age of 60. His manager confirmed that Greene was found dead in his New York City apartment on Friday, though the cause of death has not been made public. Authorities later told the New York Post that no foul play is suspected.
Throughout his career, Greene became widely recognized for portraying complex and often menacing characters. He earned critical attention for his role as Zed, the security guard antagonist in Quentin Tarantino's 1994 film Pulp Fiction, as well as for playing Dorian in the Jim Carrey-starring movie The Mask, released the same year. His performance in Lodge Kerrigan's Clean, Shaven also garnered acclaim, winning him the Best Actor award at the 1994 Taormina Film Festival.
Greene went on to appear in a wide range of films, including The Usual Suspects, Under Siege 2, Training Day alongside Denzel Washington, Judgment Night, The Rich Man's Wife, Blue Streak, and The Bounty Hunter. Born in Montclair, New Jersey, he is survived by a brother and a sister.
