Queenie Padilla confirms separation from Pakistani husband

Queenie Padilla announced her separation from her Pakistani husband, Usman Rashid Mir, on Instagram today, May 14.
Queenie is the daughter of action star and senator Robin Padilla with his ex-wife, Liezl Sicangco. She is the older sister of actress Kylie Padilla.
The former actress posted a picture on her Instagram account, saying that the reason for their separation was “irreconcilable differences.”
She wrote, “This decision wasn't taken overnight, it has been years and months of trying to work things out.”
She clarified, however, that she will always “have love, honor, and respect” for the father of her child.
“He's a great father and responsible human being,” she added.
“Although life has taken us on different paths right now, I will forever cherish the 11 years we've had together,” she said.
Queenie then thanked everyone's support over the years and requested privacy.
In her next post, Queenie announced that she would be taking a break from social media starting tomorrow, May 15.
Meanwhile, fans expressed support for Queenie in the comments section, saying she needed a break from social media. One netizen also told the former actress to take her time to “find the peace [you] deserve.”
