Rikki Mae Davao and her family welcomed the first day of May with a heavy heart because of the passing of her father, Ricky Davao.

Following the heartbreaking news, which was confirmed by her sister Ara Davao, Rikki took to Instagram Stories and shared an old, sweet photo of herself and her dad.
She wrote in the caption, “I love you so much, Papa.”
In Rikki's previous posts on Instagram, it could be seen that she is very close to her father, and she used to call her dad her "best friend."
In one of the photos that Ricky uploaded, the actor-director described his children as his “besties."
The former Widows' War star once revealed in a separate Instagram post that she was named after her dad.
Rikki Mae is one of Ricky's children with his ex-wife and actress Jackie Lou Blanco.
The TV and film icon passed away after facing complications related to cancer. He was 63 years old.
