Ex-couple Ruffa Gutierrez and Yilmaz Bektas have maintained a good relationship despite their failed marriage.
In fact, they sparked another wave of excitement among their fans with their cute interaction on social media. This is after Ruffa left three fire emojis on Yilmaz's latest post on Instagram, showing him looking handsome during his summer vacation.
In his reply, the Turkish businessman jokingly said, "Why are you still following my pictures? Thank you for liking it", before adding a lightning emoji.
In their next banter, it seemed like they were enamored with each other.
Ruffa answered, "Because it's the exact same photo you sent me. Check your messages please", to which her ex-husband simply responded with a laughing emoji.
Yilmaz then said, "Because I want to get your opinion before publishing it. :)"
Their playful exchange on Instagram had followers in a kilig frenzy, with many admiring how amicable their relationship is after the split.
One comment read, "I'm feeling giddy. I admire that you're both still friends after the breakup."
Meanwhile, a lot of fans shared their hopes for Ruffa and Yilmaz to give their relationship another shot.
One commenter said, "Maybe both are matured enough to get back together. lol my wishful thinking".
At a press conference for her brand endorsement last March, Ruffa revealed that Yilmaz has expressed a desire to remarry her.
Despite that, the actress also confessed that they've decided to become best friends, and insisted she is not assuming he wants to seriously rekindle their relationship.
Ruffa and Yilmaz got married in 2003 but parted ways in 2007. Their marriage was officially annulled in 2012. They have two daughters, Lorin and Venice.
In June 2024, Ruffa confirmed she and Herbert Bautista are in a relationship.
However, in her guest appearance in Fast Talk with Boy Abunda last June 12, she said they are "going through a bump" right now and currently not on speaking terms.
