Run with the Stars: Sparkle Run 2026 takes over Manila's most iconic spots!

Stars, fans and runners will all gather on May 30 in the City of Manila for the first-ever Sparkle Run 2026.
This premiere race event is brought to you by GMA Network, Sparkle GMA Artist Center in partnership with leading race organizer RUNRIO and Manila City spearheaded by Mayor Francisco “Isko”Moreno Domagoso.
On February 5, a star-studded contract signing was held at the Bulwagan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. Present during the momentous event were GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and Sparkle GMA Artist Center First Vice President Joy Marcelo.
Yorme Isko also attended the contract signing together with RUNRIO founder and president, and elite runner Rio de la Cruz.
Atty. Annette told the members of the GMA-7 press that through Sparkle Run, the network wants to promote health awareness to all our Kapuso audience.
She noted, “Gusto natin i-promote rin ang health and wellness dito sa Sparkle. At marami talaga tayong artists and influencers na into fitness. Ayan na nga si Alden [Richards], sila Barbie [Forteza], sila Aira, sila Kristoffer [Martin]. So, excited sila and excited kami to show sa mga tao na we have to take care of our health and I'm very happy na ka-partner natin dito ang City of Manila.”

Meanwhile, Mayor Isko sees the Sparkle Run 2026 as a huge opportunity for the City of Manila to showcase to the world its hidden gems and its unique historical landmarks like Intramuros, Manila Cathedral, Binondo, and so many more.
“Para naman ma-showcased 'yung historical landmarks of the City of Manila. You know, the City of Manila is a very old city, but it has a lot of stories to tell. And this opportunity also for younger generations to be reminded ng mga naganap at makasaysayan lugar sa lungsod.”
“Ma-ishowcase at ito ay maging pasyalan [at] puntahan on a regular basis.”
