The 'First Lady of 'Primetime' Sanya Lopez set the grand ballroom of Okada Manila ablaze on a Friday night as she headlined the grand return of the leading men's magazine FHM.
Sanya, was chosen by FHM team as the cover girl for their alluring return marking a 'bolder and more evolve' version of the iconic magazine.
In an earlier interview with GMANetwork.com, we asked the Sparkle drama actress what a confident woman means to her- a quality FHM has long celebrated.
Talking about what she learned through the years, Sanya explained, “At this stage of my life, being confident means mas kilala ko na ang sarili ko. Alam ko na kung ano ang gusto ko, ano ang kaya ko, at saan ako comfortable. Hindi ibig sabihin na wala na akong insecurities.
The Morena beauty added, “May days pa rin na hindi ako ganoon ka-confident, pero I'm learning to be kinder to myself. For me, sensuality is being comfortable in your own skin. There's something beautiful about a woman who can embrace herself and make choices she feels good about, without needing everyone's approval.”
She also shared her experience with the FHM team shooting for the cover, wherein Sanya praised all of those involved for being open to collaborating and taking into consideration her vision.
The 30-year-old stunner told GMA Network.com,” “I try to take care of myself and give myself time to rest whenever I can. Mentally, malaking tulong sa akin ang prayer and knowing that I'm working with people I trust. May kaba pa rin naman, especially kapag something new, pero mas nagiging comfortable ako kapag napag-uusapan namin yung vision ng shoot. Nakakatuwa rin kasi they ask for my ideas and what I'm comfortable with. From there, I can relax, be present, and enjoy.”
