jico umali road to recovery after stroke

Content creator Jico Umali is now making progress toward recovery after a stroke took a toll on his life.

The 28-year-old viral content creator, who is also known as "JiConyo," fondly gives updates on his health battle from being admitted at a hospital last July to doing physical therapy sessions and apnea tests.

Despite the challenges, Jico continues to connect with his followers, offering insight into the rehabilitation process and the realities of life after a stroke.

He also took to social media to express thanks to those who offered him a helping hand while being temporarily incapacitated; from the condo guards, who initially rescued him, the doctors and nurses who took care of him, and to his loving family and supportive friends.

It may have forced an abrupt pause to his online work and daily life, but Jico is gradually returning to content creation while documenting the challenges and milestones of his recovery.

Take a look at how he's getting back on his feet after the stroke.
