Seo Ye-ji denies rumors with Kim Soo-hyun: 'I don't know why I have to explain any of this'
South Korean actress Seo Ye-ji has finally spoken out to address online rumors regarding her relationship with former It's Okay Not To Be Okay co-star Kim Soo-hyun.
On March 13, Seo Ye-ji took to her official fan cafe to express her frustration over the ongoing speculations.
She wrote (translated by Allkpop), "To my beloved yeye (Seo Ye-ji's official fan club), As a human being, I can't help but feel overwhelmed, overburdened, tired, sad, and suffocated."
She continued, "I tried to suppress and suppress it all. But before I knew it, I was typing a reply to the comments and then quickly deleting them. Just please stop. I swear I have no personal relations whatsoever with that person or his older brother. I don't know why I have to explain any of this."
The Eve star also shared a screenshot of a fan's message on Instagram. "Unnie, did Kim Soo Hyun cheat on [Kim Sae Ron] with you while he was in that controlling relationship? Don't disappoint us again. I saw the news about you on TikTok," the fan wrote.
"I feel so frustrated today... but goodnight yeyes," Seo Ye-ji responded.

Recently, allegations surfaced claiming that Kim Soo-hyun dated the late actress Kim Sae-ron in 2016. The YouTube channel HOVERLAB released alleged private photos of the two, reportedly retrieved from Kim Sae-ron's possessions. There were also letters from the South Korean actor that he supposedly wrote during his military service.
In response, Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, firmly denied the claims and called them "false and baseless." The company announced as well to take legal action against the channel.
As speculation continues to grow, Seo Ye-ji is among the artists who have been unexpectedly dragged into the actor's controversy.
