SEVENTEEN's Mingyu recently surprised fans with a new look.
The group's visual stepped out at the Simmons pop-up event at Simmons Gallery Seongsu in Seoul, South Korea, on September 3, sporting a fresh buzz cut.
His new hairstyle, which he debuted ahead of his military enlistment, shocked CARATs and quickly caught attention online. The K-pop idol also turned heads with his classic black tailored coat, paired with a crisp white shirt and sleek shades.
As Mingyu debuted his buzz cut, the internet went into a frenzy, with fans noting that it was his shortest haircut yet.
CARATs expressed their admiration for Mingyu's new look, with many saying that he can pull off any haircut—even one that leaves his head almost completely shaved.

Mingyu will begin his mandatory military service alongside fellow members DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino on September 10, resulting in a temporary pause in their group activities.
However, SEVENTEEN is expected to reunite as OT13 in 2028 after all members have completed their military service.
