Shan Vesagas, 'Bangus Girl,' other social media breakout stars introduced as new Sparkle artists

In the recent Signed for Stardom 2024, Sparkle introduced their social media breakout stars as their new talents. They are May Ann "Bangus Girl" Basa, Shan Vesagas, Mark Oliveros and Chef Ylyt.
May Ann, known as the "Bangus Girl" on social media, expressed gratitude for officially joining Sparkle.
"Sobrang saya ko po ngayong araw na 'to... Nandito na po ang inyong 'Bangus Girl' dati po nagbebenta lang po ako ng bangus sa palengke, ngayon Sparkle artist na po ako. Maraming salamat po sa suporta ninyo."
Meanwhile, Shan narrated how he started his career in social media before signing with Sparkle.
"I started being an influencer during the pandemic and I didn't know it was going to be an opportunity for me. I was actually a basketball player at first, recently, I gained a lot of traction."
For Mark, being recognized as a Kapuso and Sparkle artist was a dream come true.
He said, "Ako po, I auditioned talaga. Nag-audition ako para maging part ng Sparkle. Nag-try lang ako na tuparin ang wildest dream ko of becoming an artist... Bata po ako to content creator, Kapuso shows na 'yung sandigan ko para mangarap at magsumikap."
Chef Ylyt was recognized in social media because of her recipes and mukbangs. Now she is officially a Sparkle artist.
She greeted, "I'm officially a Kapuso!"
Chef Ylyt added, "I am so happy to be here kasi it's always my dream to be a Kapuso and I am looking forward to more opportunities with Sparkle."
