SHINee member Taemin is gearing up for his August comeback and world tour!
On July 28, Taemin surprised his fans by dropping a short clip announcing his return with his fifth mini album, ETERNAL, which will be released on August 19 at 6:00 p.m. KST (Korean Standard Time).
This will come as Taemin's first release in 10 months, following his fourth mini album, Guilty, in October 2023. This is also his first album under Big Planet Made, who now manages his solo activities.
Aside from his upcoming album, Taemin is preparing for his 2024 world tour called "Ephemeral Gaze," which will kick off with a two-day concert in Incheon, South Korea on August 31 and September 1.
Taemin will bring this tour to 10 other cities including Kuala Lumpur on September 7, Taipei on September 14, Tokyo on September 21 and 22, Bangkok on September 28, Hong Kong on October 5, Fukuoka on October 19 and 20, Jakarta on October 26, Abu Dhabi on November 1, Singapore on November 9, and Manila on November 24.
Details of his Manila stop have yet to be announced.

SHINee's Taemin received an ear-shuttering welcome from his Filipino fans during the opening of his solo stage at the K-Magic Live concert in Manila on Friday, October 13 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
SHINee's Taemin opened his solo performance with his hit song "Move."
"Long time no see, Philippines. This is Taemin. It's great to see you guys," Taemin greeted his Filipino fans.
Taemin said he felt sincerity when his fans greeted him with "Saranghae" (I love you).
Taemin was "quite sorry" to be reunited with his Filo Shawols after six long years, but he was grateful for their unwavering support.
Taemin recalls the Filipino fans as passionate and energetic. He shared, "When I came here [with] SHINee as a group we were so happy that we got passionate cheers. And, after so long I have come here to perform in front of you guys and I'm so thankful that you are still passionate."
Taemin sang a portion of the melody of his song from his upcoming solo album, Guilty. He shared, "The video of the teaser is actually prepared. I could tell you that it's a really spicy song."
SHINee member Taemin also invited his fans to support his fourth mini album, 'Guilty,' which will be released on October 30 at 6:00 p.m. KST. "I've been busy preparing for my album, Guilty, and you know, seeing you guys here I'm being energized. So, if you guys love me please enjoy my new album, Guilty. This is so hot. Please look forward to it, okay? Promise?"
Taemin revealed that he was preparing for a concert. He shared, "I'm going to announce the exact date maybe next week. So, if you guys have time to come to my show, you know, it will be great."
When asked how he felt about other artists being inspired by him, he said, "I think it's such an honor that as I have been inspired by other artists, I inspired other artists, too. And, I kinda feel a bit of achievement as well since it's been a while since I have performed as an artist, and someone admiring my career I feel a lot of feeling of achievement through that."
Aside from "Move," Taemin treated his fans with breathtaking performances of his songs "Criminal," "Idea," and "Hypnosis."
Taemin promised to return to the Philippines if the opportunity came. "I'll make sure that if there's an opportunity to come back with my SHINee members, I will be back... I love you so much. Next time see you."
Taemin's solo performance concluded with his song "Advice."
