The OPM industry mourns the loss of Sleep Alley vocalist Aly.

On social media, the alternative rock band announced the heartbreaking news with a heartfelt tribute to their late bandmate.

"It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved bandmate and dear friend, Aly," they wrote.

"Aly was more than a member of Sleep Alley, she was a part of the heart and soul of this band. Through her music, passion, creativity, and friendship, she touched not only our lives but also the lives of everyone who listened to our songs and supported our journey."

The band noted they will cherish the memories and music they shared with Aly, who became an inspiration to many.

Alongside the announcement of Aly's passing, the band also revealed that they have decided to bring a chapter to a close.

"In honor of Aly and everything she brought to Sleep Alley, we have decided to close this chapter of the band. We leave this as part of her legacy. A reflection of the music, memories, and journey we shared together.

"To everyone who supported Sleep Alley throughout the years, attended our shows, listened to our music, shared our work, and believed in us, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support meant the world to us, and we are deeply grateful that you were part of this journey with Aly."

Sleep Alley concluded their message by expressing gratitude to its supporters and honoring Aly's memory.

"As we say goodbye, we ask that you keep Aly and her loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. We hope that whenever our music is played, her memory continues to live on," they said.

"Thank you, Aly, for the music, the friendship, and the memories. We will carry them with us always.

Sleep Alley was composed of bandmates Aly, Jude, Kyle, and Michael.

Together, they're known for songs such as "Di Naging (Tayo)," "Desperado," "Hintay," and "Lihim." Their most recent release was the EP "Idlip" in 2024.
