GMA Playlist and GMA Music brings together three Sparkle artists--Akira Kurata, Shaun Salador, and Seb Pajarillo for a media conference filled with love and music.
For Akira Kurata, love begins with joy and excitement. His debut single “Dahil Sa'yo” bursts with energy, capturing the euphoria of falling in love for the first time. With its lively pop beat and catchy melody, the song celebrates the happiness that comes with newfound affection.
He said, “I want listeners to feel happy and full of love. 'Dahil Sa'yo' is not a slow song. It's a song that you can dance to while singing. I hope it makes the listeners want to celebrate love,” shares Kurata, a winner of the GMA Playlist Choice Award.
Meanwhile, Shaun Salvador explores a different side of love with his emotional single “Get Through.” The track represents the middle stage of a relationship when love is tested by hardship and both people must fight to keep it alive. Raw and honest, “Get Through” speaks to anyone who's ever tried to save a love worth keeping.
“It's a real conversation between two people trying to save their love. It captures the exact moment when you're still holding on to hope even if things are falling apart,” Shaun explains.
Closing the trilogy of emotions is Seb Pajarillo with his soulful ballad “Guhit.” Meaning “stroke” or “mark,” the song reflects on what's left after love fades; the marks, lessons, and memories that never completely go away. Seb's expressive vocals capture both pain and peace as he sings about the imprints people leave on each other's hearts.
“'Guhit' is about the memories that stay with us. This song is a reminder that not every love story disappears completely, they just turn into beautiful memories,” Seb shares.
With these releases, Akira, Shaun, and Seb remind listeners that love is a journey worth feeling from its joyful beginnings to its quiet goodbyes and music will always be there to tell its story.
