Sparkle releases statement on Kyline Alcantara-Kobe Paras split

Sparkle GMA Artist Center, the talent arm of GMA Network, has issued a statement surrounding the breakup of Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara and her ex-boyfriend, Kobe Paras.
It can be recalled that in November 2024, Kobe confirmed that he and Kyline were dating. However, by mid-April, eagle-eyed netizens noticed that Kyline was no longer following Kobe on Instagram, and the former basketball athlete followed suit.
In a video posted by Kobe's mom, Jackie Forster, recently, she confirmed that the celebrity couple has broken up. In the same video, she defended her son from the cheating allegations. The former actress noted how their family wanted to keep quiet; however, she claimed that Kyline's camp allegedly posted “false narratives” to paint Kobe in a bad light.
On Tuesday, April 29, Sparkle GMA Artist Center released a statement to address this.
"Kyline would like to move on with this issue. She has chosen to keep her peace and maintain the respect for the people who have been part of her life. She hopes we can all move on and put this issue to rest."
On several social media platforms, fans have expressed their support for Kyline, saying how she's a good person. Other netizens also defended the young actress, saying that she was the one telling the truth about her relationship with Kobe.
One netizen said of Jackie's video post, “At babaliktarin pa nga. This won't even work in this generation anymore - people are smarter. The amount of videos around socmed of [her] son with another girl not long after the said break up could already rebutt some of her claims.”

Another noted how the video was unnecessary since Kyline did not do anything against Jackie and her family. One netizen also pointed out how the young actress “never once spoken badly or sabotaged” anyone.

“She stayed silent with grace, despite everything. Meanwhile, Kobe's action speaks louder than any words and they clearly show where the fault lies,” they wrote.
Other netizens also noted how strong Kyline is with how she's handling the issue surrounding her, as well as Jackie's post. One even advised the young actress to focus on her career instead.
