After Korean drama 'Stairway to Heaven' first aired on television in 2003, it's highly esteemed cast have established their own careers. Choi Ji-woo, Kwon Sang-woo, Kim Tae-hee, Shin Hyun-joon, Park Shin-hye, and Baek Sung-hyun have remained in the entertainment industry and have played various memorable characters.
Stairway to Heaven was such a huge hit overseas and is one of the dramas that made its mark in the Korean wave. The drama's soundtrack "Bogoshipda" by balladeer Kim Bum-soo was also a huge hit in Korea and is considered as the singer's big break.
The drama's international success spawned a remake from GMA Network in 2009 starring Dingdong Dantes as Cholo and Rhian Ramos as Jodi/Jenna.
