Aside from owning a home, Filipinos dream of buying a car.
And if car sales are any indication, then, Pinoys are heading to their nearest car dealer to fulfill their desire of going on a road trip or just simply avoid the cumbersome public transportation system by buying their own vehicle.
Based on last year's data, the joint report by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) shows that vehicle sales in the country surpassed pre-pandemic level of 429,807 units, a record high.
