Sunshine Cruz diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis autoimmune disease

Sunshine Cruz shared that she has been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, just a few days after walking in the Bench Body of Work fashion show.
The 47-year-old actress revealed on social media that she has myasthenia gravis (MG), a condition that impacts voluntary muscles, including those in the limbs, eyes, mouth, and throat.
"Myasthenia gravis is a chronic neuromuscular disease that causes weakness in the voluntary muscles. Voluntary muscles include muscles that connect to a person's bones, muscles in the face, throat, and diaphragm," a US-based health website, The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke stated.
"It's been a real roller coaster these past months. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called myasthenia gravis which has made building muscle a real struggle," Sunshine admitted.
She added, "But I'm so thankful for the strength I've found. Walking for Bench was a powerful reminder of what's possible even when things are tough. To all my fellow moms and Gen Xers, never give up on your dreams."
