In July 2021, Kapuso actor Mavy Legaspi shared a picture of himself while someone's finger can be seen poking his left dimple.
He wrote in the caption, "They say, 'happiness is having dimples' but to me, happiness is being around her."
A few days later, Mavy posted a picture of a girl's partly covered face with his finger poking the visible dimple.
He wrote, "Her. Her smile. Her dimples. Yup, that's the post."
Not long after, Mavy confirmed that the girl in the photo was none other than Kyline Alcantara.
Since then, Kyline and Mavy have been posting pictures together, especially when they were at the lock-in taping of GMA's primetime show 'I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.'
The two have been spotted together everywhere they go, may it be on the red carpet of an haute couture event such as Louis Vuitton's Christmas tree lighting and numerous Bulgari launches, or at a taping, press conference, you name it.
The two have also embarked on numerous projects together. Last 2022, they launched their video podcast “MavLine On Me,” on Spotify and became the new brand ambassadors of international skincare brand Clinique.
This 2023, the two made their way back to television and took on roles for GMA's Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Mavy and Kyline also starred in GMA's Zero Kilometers Away.
Now, Mavy and Kyline are making hearts flutter in their newest GMA series Luv Is: Love At First Read.
The new romantic series follows Angelica (Kyline Alcantara) who loves to write all of her feelings in her diary. One day, she unconsciously left her diary on the train and was found by their campus heartthrob, Kudos Pereseo (Mavy Legaspi).
