Born to a Filipino mother and Italian father in Canada, Nancy Castiglione became a household name during the early to mid 2000s after rising to fame because of her iconic TV commercials. During her prime, she was one of the most sought-after celebrities in the Philippines as she appeared in various TV shows like 'StarStruck' season one where she served as one of the hosts.
Nancy also starred in teleseryes like 'Mulawin' where she played Muyak, a pixie residing in Lireo. The actress reprised the role in 'Encantadia' (2005) and its second and third installments titled 'Etheria: Ang Ikalimang Kaharian ng Encantadia' (2005) and 'Encantadia: Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas' (2006), respectively.
