For Kapuso stars Mark Herras and Nicole Donesa, what started out as a simple friendship turned into an unlikely romance.
The celebrity couple first became acquainted through the GMA afternoon drama 'Bihag' and became close colleagues turned friends. As they started hanging out more and posting photos together on social media, netizens started shipping the two. Later on, they confirmed they are officially in a relationship in August 2019. Almost a year after, the lovers got engaged.
"Just when I thought the world was ending, a miracle happened. Life is a beautiful and short blessing, and I can't wait to spend the rest of this life with you @herrasmarkangeloofficial, in any way we possibly can. Thank you, God," Nicole said about their engagement.
In September 2020, the couple revealed that they were expecting their first child. Mark announced the new blessing in their lives through their YouTube channel. The pair also had a bright, nature-themed maternity photoshoot in October 2020.
In December 2020, Mark and Nicole revealed in a virtual gender reveal that their Baby Corky is a boy.
