Tricia Robredo confirms she got engaged last year

Tricia Robredo, the daughter of former Vice President and now Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo, shared surprising news on Wednesday, November 12, after she confirmed on Instagram that she got engaged back in 2024.
According to Doc Tricia, her morning run was cut short last year when her fiancé proposed to her.
She shared on Instagram, “My morning run was cut short a year ago today. Unli miles were promised to make up for it.”
With her engagement news, several celebrities commented on her Instagram page to congratulate her, including Unang Hirit host Lyn Ching, Marjorie Barretto, and social media influencer Laureen Uy.

During her UAAP days, Tricia was the courtside reporter for the senior men's basketball team of the National University Bulldogs. In addition, she is a proud alumni of Ateneo de Manila University, wherein she graduated with a dual degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health in 2020.
She got accepted to the Masters of Medical Science program of Harvard University back in 2022.
