Dancer-turned-comedian Lovely Abella has found the best partner to spend the rest of her life with: Benj Manalo.
Benj is the son of 'Eat Bulaga' host Jose Manalo. Aside from being a great companion, he's now a father figure to Lovely's daughter Crisha Kaye.
And on January 23, 2021, a moment that will be etched in their memories, the Bubble Gang actress tied the knot with the man of her dreams in an intimate garden-wedding ceremony held at Lemuria Gourmet Restaurant.
The couple first got engaged in June 2019 and on January 1, 2021, Benj affectionaly asked Lovely's hand in marriage once again.
After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Manalo took to social media respectively to profess their immense love for each other.
Benj posted, “Ang sarap sa pakiramdam dahil tangap ako ng anak NATIN. Sarap sa pakiramdam kasi natutupad ko ung mga pangako na binitawan ko sa daddy mo nung bago palang tayo.
“Sarap sa pakiramdam na ung kala mo simple lang ang wedding pero nabigay ko ung simple pero puno ng pag mamahal na pag iisang dibdib natin. Magical sobra.”
Meanwhile, Lovely shared that even though they faced some challenges as a couple in the past, she's glad that they were able to overcome it no matter what.
“Di naging madali sa amin lahat ng bagay, di umaayon sa amin ang panahon, pero pag pinagdadasal ninyong dalawa di man umayon, naaayos naman at nagiging masaya.. at yun ang importante ang masaya kayong dalawa sa kung ano man ang kapalarang binubuo ninyo”
