Inanunsyo iyan ni King of Talk Boy Abunda sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda nitong Martes, July 22, mula sas Facebook post ng singer at TV host na si Martin Nievera.
“Kami ay nakikiramay po sa pamilya at mga mahal sa buhay ng batikang direktor, television at concert director na si Fritz Ynfante. Pumanaw po si Tito Fritz kahapon ng umaga, July 21 sa edad na 84,” pag-anunsyo ni Boy sa kaniyang programa.
Caption naman ni Martin sa kaniyang Facebook post, “Today we lost one of the industry's best and most demanding directors. There was no compromise. It was his way or the super highway!”
Ayon pa kay Martin ay “perfectionist to a fault” si Fritz, ngunit iyon ay dahil lamang gusto niyang makita ang pinakamahusay na bersyon ng mga taong idinerehe, tinuruan, at mga minahal nito.
Pagbabahagi pa ng singer-TV host, ito ang nagbigay sa kaniya ng unang proyekto niya bilang isang TV host sa pamamagitan ng palabas na Penthouse Live, at tunay na naniniwala sa team nila ng dating asawa niyang si Pops Fernandez.
“He always trusted us with his direction and his gazillion changes on every script. His attention to detail was second to none and he spared no one's feelings when defending what he knew in his heart was right,” sulat ni Martin.
Ipinahayag din ni Martin kung gaano siya pinagpala na naging instrumento si Direk Fritz sa kaniyang karera sa telebisyon.
Sabi pa ni Martin, “Tito Fritz I will forever be grateful. I will miss you. Thank you for all you did not just for me , but for all of us whose careers you scolded and molded until each of our dreams came true. I love you! ”
