"Balitang Ina" host Valeen Montenegro is now a mom!
The actress gave birth to a baby boy last November 11 at 6:47 p.m., her husband, cinematographer Riel Manuel, announced in a heartfelt Instagram post on Sunday, November 16.
In black-and-white photos, Riel captured the raw moments of Valeen's childbirth as he expressed his gratitude for her strength during the 28-hour labor.
He wrote, "This was so new to us. It's been an exhausting week, but the most beautiful one yet. My heart has never been fuller.
"Watching my wife go through 28 hours of labor showed me what real strength looks like. She's my hero.
"The bond got stronger. Thank you for enduring every challenge, every ache, and every worry just to bring our little one into this world."
Riel also thanked Valeen's obstetrician-gynecologist for guiding them and delivering their newborn baby safely.
The comments section overflowed with congratulations for the new parents, including messages from Valeen's fellow celebrity moms such as Lovi Poe, Chariz Solomon, Megan Young, Yasmien Kurdi, Maxine Medina, and Bea Fabregas.

Valeen revealed her pregnancy on June 10, 2025 which also marked her 35th birthday.
Valeen and Riel married on January 12, 2024 at the Santuario de San Antonio Parish in Forbes Park, Makati.
