Vivamax actress Karen Lopez finally stepped out to the public after her last public appearance with her boyfriend on May 5, sparking 'missing person' rumors.

Karen put an end to the worries of netizens and addressed her sudden disappearance on Wednesday, May 14, for her sudden disappearance.

According to Karen, she needed to disappear to focus on her well-being after she faced mentally and emotionally challenging experiences.

Dumaan ako sa mga bagay na medyo mabigat mentally and emotionally, at napagtanto kong kailangan kong unahin ang well-being ko- even if that meant stepping back for a while,” Karen wrote online.

Following her much-needed pause from the world, Karen said she is now getting better.

Karen told fans. Slowly, I'm getting better and trying to comeback stronger, one step at a time.”

At the end of her message, Karen expressed her gratitude to the people who showed support during her trying times. Slowly but surely, I'm getting back on track. Appreciate you all so much!”

According to reports, Karen went to a secluded island in the province with her boyfriend to clear her mind from anxiety and depression.

Karen Lopez's manager, Lito De Guzman, said in a radio interview. “So, andun, buhay siya.
