Wendy concludes 'W:EALIVE' with a full-house show in Manila

K-pop star Wendy kicked off 2026 with a meaningful and unforgettable closing show for her first solo world tour, W:EALIVE, in Manila.
The Red Velvet member stood on the stage of New Frontier Theater on Saturday, January 17, and effortlessly captured the crowd with her vocal prowess, wit, and love for Filipino fans.
“It's my first time meeting Manila for a solo concert, so it's very exciting and extra special to me. I hope it's very special to you guys, too," said Wendy
At the beginning of her concert, Wendy noted the overflowing energy of fans who filled the New Frontier Theater.
“Before I enter for 'Fireproof,' I'm supposed to have my in-ears at the same time, but because of your energy and shouting, I couldn't hear myself at al. This is actually my first time to pull [my in-ear monitors] out," she said.
