But did you know that behind the captivating and pogi voice of Jhayvot G lies a beautiful and talented drag queen Maxie Andreison who has represented the Philippines in the global singing competition Queen of the Universe in 2023?
She also got the crown on the third season of the popular drag reality show Drag Race Philippines in 2024.

Maxie Andreison first caught the eyes of the people when she showed her wit at a noontime variety show and sang her heart out to Jennifer Holiday's “And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going.”
Maxie Andreison continued her career in the limelight when she starred in the 2013 stage Maxie The Musicale, which tells the story of “an effeminate, adolescent boy Maxie growing up in the slums of Manila, and who is deeply loyal to his family of petty thieves.”
This also inspired her drag name Maxie Andreison.
Drag queen Maxie Andreison revealed that she started performing at three years old in an amateur singing contest. Some of her first pieces were “On The Wings of Love” and “To Love You More.” She said she joined at least a thousand singing contests.
She also talked about her passion for performing, “I know how to entertain people talaga. When I'm on stage, iba po talaga 'yung pagkatao ko. Hindi ko na alam kung matutuwa sila o ano, pero one thing is for sure, lagi ko pong sinasabi sa sarili ko, I know how to entertain people and alam ko po how to execute 'yung number ko…”
Maxie Andreison said she knew who she was at a young age and never did she question her sexuality and preference.
“Ang feeling ko po [noon] is super bakla ako,” said Maxie.
Unlike other members of the LGBTQIA+, Maxie Andreison is fortunate to have a loving and supportive family, especially her father, who embraced her true self without any doubts.
“Alam po nilang bakla ako, especially my father. Alam po niya na bakla ako since birth, and he's very supportive. Gina-guide niya ako. Never po ako naka-experience sa kaniya ng palo dahil bakla ako,” Maxie said in an interview.
Maxie Anderson is a regular drag performer at an LGBTQ-friendly bar and drag venue in Metro Manila. She widened her reach when she joined the drag singing competition Queen of the Universe 2 in 2023 and grabbed her first crown in the third season of Drag Race Philippines.
In an online interview, Maxie Andreison said that she only has one goal in life, which is to perform on the international stage.
“I manifest my dream kasi alam ko na matutupad 'yung dream ko basta pagtrabahuan ko lang siya,” said Maxie.
Despite being booked and busy as a performer, Maxie Andreison still gives herself a chance at love and said has been in three serious relationships. She also said that her family is very supportive of her, as long as her partner takes care of her.
As of now, Maxie Andreison is proud to say that she has worked enough to give her family a slightly comfortable life. Unlike before, she can now provide for her family, pay their bills, and treat them with good things in life.
With her continuous rise to fame, Maxie Andreison said she has no plans of stopping yet.
“Hindi ko pa po masabi kung hanggang kailan [ako mag-pe-perform], pero siguro parang mahabang panahon pa. Hangga't may mga natutuwa pa, hangga't may mga na-i-inspire pa ako, hangga't natutulungan ko pa 'yung pamilya ko, gagawin ko ito.”
