Several celebrities stole the spotlight at the 9th Eddys Entertainment Editors' Choice Awards, taking home honors for their outstanding performances in film, held at the Ceremonial Hall of Newport World Resorts on Sunday, July 5.
Leading this year's winners were Jericho Rosales, who won Best Actor for Quezon, and Maris Racal, who took home the Best Actress award for Sunshine.
Among the Kapuso winners were Rochelle Pangilinan and Will Ashley, who both reached a milestone in their acting careers with their respective victories. Meanwhile, fellow Kapuso stars Dingdong Dantes and Barbie Forteza also earned nominations for their performances in Only We Know and Kontrabida Academy, respectively.
