The lead cast of GMA Pictures and Viva Films' upcoming movie 'Playtime' faced members of the media during the film's press conference held at Fin & Claw Grill in Quezon City on Saturday, June 1.
Sanya Lopez, Coleen Garcia, Faye Lorenzo, and Xian Lim shared their experience working with each other on 'Playtime,' directed by esteemed director Mark Reyes.
Faye, who worked with Coleen and Xian for the first time, recalled a funny story she had with Sanya at the movie's story conference.
She recalled, "Nakikipag-change seat ako [kay Sanya]. Kasi nung storycon namin, nandito ako, si Sanya, and then si Xian. Last dumating si Coleen, so nung dadating na siya, tatabi siya sa akin. Malayo pa lang, pagkakita ko sa kaniya, sabi ko talaga kay Sanya, 'Sanya, palit tayo ng upuan, baka English 'to, e.' Tapos noong tumabi siya sa akin, nagtagalog siya, sabi ko kay Sanya, 'Nag-Tagalog siya"

'Playtime' director Mark Reyes was also in attendance to answer some questions about his latest movie.
Sanya Lopez, who plays a social media influencer Ali in the movie, admitted that some fans go overboard when meeting her. She said, "Medyo ingat rin po kasi ako sa mga fan kasi may mga fan talaga na 'pag na-excite na, hindi mo alam kung ano 'yung possible na gawin nila sa'yo."
Since the movie is mainly about trusting a person you barely know, Coleen Garcia admitted that there's a part of her who always trusts people despite getting betrayed several times already. She said, "Ilang beses na rin akong na-betray, and na-break 'yung trust, pero for some reason, madali pa rin ako mag-trust ng ibang tao, pero nandoon pa rin 'yung expectation ko."
For the first time, Faye Lorenzo got a chance to work with Coleen Garcia, and she has a funny story to tell before meeting each other for the first time during the movie's story conference. She recalled, "Nakikipag-change seat ako [kay Sanya]. Kasi nung storycon namin, nandito ako, si Sanya, and then si Xian. Last dumating si Coleen, so nung dadating na siya, tatabi siya sa akin. Tapos noong tumabi siya sa akin, nagtagalog siya, sabi ko kay Sanya, 'Nagtagalog siya!'
Straight to the point, Xian Lim answered the questions if he ever "playtimed" any of his past relationships. He said, "Kung ako 'yung nang-playtime, hindi po. Kung ako po ba 'yung na-playtime, hindi ko alam. If sa duration ng relationship, no matter how long, kung playtime nga ba, I don't think so."
Critically-acclaimed director Mark Reyes admitted that doing a sexy-thriller film was something new to him but he can proudly say that 'Playtime' is in the top five films of his career. "Out of the 17, 18 films that I've done, this is in the top five because the way I finally saw it a few days ago, almost the final cut, talagang sabi ko, 'Wow!' For a humble project, I called it a very humble project, ang ganda nung lumabas. I'm very excited to share that with you," he said.
