Yuuki Kadooka, the former child star who captured audiences as Tenten in the 'Ang Tanging Ina' film franchise, recently celebrated his 30th birthday, prompting fans to look back on how much he has changed since his days as the adorable tenth child of Ina Montecillo, played by Ai-Ai delas Alas.
Yuuki marked the milestone with a playful Instagram post, writing, “30 years old na daw si Ten-Ten Byebye 20s, but I am looking forward to the future.” He later admitted, “Hindi lang ikaw ang shock na 30 years old na ako. Hay nako ang bilis ng panahon,” as netizens welcomed him to his 30s with jokes about Tenten becoming a “trentahin.”
Among those who greeted him was his former co-star Eugene Domingo, whom Yuuki fondly addressed as “Ninang” in their exchange.
Although he has stepped away from mainstream showbiz, Yuuki recently found a new way to reconnect with Filipino audiences through his YouTube channel, where he documents his life in Japan.
In April, he thanked those who continued to remember him throughout the years. He wrote on his Instragram post, “To everyone who still remembered me, looked for me, followed me, and sent me messages over the years, thank you so much.”
He explained that his vlogs would allow him to share “my experiences, my thoughts, my interests, and random stories as who I am today,” while pursuing his dream of connecting the Philippines and Japan. Yuuki also admitted that returning to the public eye made him nervous, but said he was grateful for the encouragement that pushed him to take on the new challenge.
