People are all gearing up for the long Holy Week break, a welcome reprieve from school and work.

But this 2026, the world is facing uncertain times because of the Middle East conflict pushing oil prices to astronomical levels. Countries like the Philippines, that rely on crude oil imports, have been severely affected.

In the past few weeks, Filipinos have been feeling the brunt of spiking cost of fuel, ultities, goods, and services. However, a report from GMA News Online citing Maki Pulido’s report, motorists could expect lower gasoline prices in the coming days except for diesel.
